and it appears that gluttony is a mere copy of pride, wonder why. Also curious as to what prides ability is. Since we see "pride" in his "true form" in the tunnel but he also is walking/talking in his human form

Well, it's somewhat funny how I always suceed in seeing through character disguise 2-3 pages before truth is revealed. Wheile reading chapter 70 of FMA when I read dialogue between Hawkeye and mrs.Bradley and she said "He is our pride and joy." I thought - so the boy is Pride.

And about original homunculus - did anyone noticed that his shadow looks similiar to "hands from the gate"?

I didn't see that until afterwards. I mean, pride and joy could've been the translators prerogative and not the mangakas words. And people use that expression all the time so mebbe youre a bit paranoid hahaha. Zomg my mom said I'm her pride and joy? I must be a homunculus!

^ Well, I know that this expression itself doeasn't necessary mean that he is humunculus, it's just something that you call intuition. or too much series read, it was all the same in History strongest disciple Kenichi. Two chapters before revealing that one of characters has an alter ego I knew it was him.

well, I got the feeling that he was pride when she turned so voilently, but i guess "pride and joy" is kindof a givaway too

and yes, those hands look very suspicious, though i doubt pride acually is a gate in the same way gluttony is...

given hawkeye's question, I'm pretty sure when he said he's the same as gluttony, he meant that as in "yes i'm also a homunculus"

But agreed, when she made that sharp turn, you could've pretty much guessed that the kid's got some major part in the series. Anyway, i'm curious to see what he actually means by 'the original'.

Also, agree with Liar that the shadow looks similiar to "hands from the gate", reminds me of the ultimate question on the Gates of Truth and what it actually is.

i would guess he's the first homunculus to be created by father, I mean he does seem to give orders to everyone else, which implies that he has seniority and was therefore born first
