In case noone's noticed this (I haven't seen any threads on it here) There's been a strange man following (or just appearing near) the Elric brothers, Winry, and possibly Mustang.
Actually he doesn't look to weird.....

he's also found in book 2, 4, 6, (7 maybe, i haven't checked), 8, 10, 11, 12 tiwce
(he might be in nine im not sure)
I never noticed anything. I think dats its probably some kind of character that gives a hint to more horrifying twist in the story. Maybe its HOhenhiem and he wants 2 check up on his sons quietly. who knos? thanks 4 pointing it out.
d'you know what chapter that is? he could be just a generic background extra that's easy to draw, or it could be pride o.O

Book 11 chapter 42 page 32 (of book 11) page 22 (of chapter 42) 2nd panel, next to Hawkeye
Book 12 chapter 48 page 127 (of book 12) page 33 (of chapter 48) 1st panel, bottom right
There r more sightings but i want others to find that out
and he probably appears past volume 12 but im not looking thru the scans...
mm.. it's probably a little different since i'm using scanlations, but it can't be more than +/- a page. the dude you're talking looks different:
- chapter 8 - the first 6-7 pages are in military HQ, and no suspicious person?
- however, on page 8 of chapter 8, there's a fair hair with fair mustache, sort of chubby
- chapter 16 - black hair with black mustache and wearing glasses
- chapter 25 - black hair with black mustache, but not wearing glasses
- chapter 32 - looks like nearly the same person as chapter 8
- chapter 42 - looks like the same as above, but more muscular
- chapter 48 - looks like above, but thinner
seriously, i think it's most likely a different person, since there are some minor changes in each (at least imo), and there are quite a few extras in every chapter.
not to mention if this person was indeed important, there would've been more focus on him.
Im using the volumes and from the guy ur getting at im quite sure its more than +/- a page...in book 2, hughes is saying good bye to Ed&armstrong, In chapter 16, hes stting a few rows behind Ed and Winry, in chapter 25...he's just walking....well...I hope someone knows the scanlation equivalents of what i posted...but judging from what your getting, we have another stalker..... Hooray!
could be pride but if it was someone important there would have been a full pic dedicated to them by now. that's what i think. could just be a generic background character. i dunno.

Actually i didn't notice it, someone else had on another forum so i decided to bring the topic here
But the sighting i discovered (page 54 of book 4) was spotted on my own, no clues from other FMA forums...and also i kinda stayed up all night doing it...^_^¬
wow. u guys are observant. i just read it and get hyper over it. and that about it. i guess too much tv has made my brain dumb
