So we find out for sure that Hohenheim doesn't age, and before we found out 10+ chapters ago that he can't be killed. I have a feeling we wont see Hohenheim for a little while now, after showing us so much of him.

I'm pretty sure Van Hohenheim left to either figure out how to regain his mortality or to stop Father's plans. I don't know about the anime I don't try to remember crap.

The anime wasn't crap, he didn't follow the manga as much, but it had it's own story that was quite interesting.

It's pretty much stated Hohenheim left to try to regain his mortality. And recently my thinking is that Hohenheim created father, or vice versa, not sure which.

i wish Hohenheim could've just smiled while the picture was taken.
why does Father look a lot similar to Hohenheim anyways?

maybe father is the evil twin brother of hohenheim! or his twisted other personality kidding..

i think it is both ( the reason for which he left ) he said he wanted to get old and die with them , so he needed to make himself able to age and ensure that they would live long enough to die of old age and not be turned into the philosopher's stone.
What bothers me is .. what if he dies immediately after he becomes mortal... you know , cause he has already surpassed the normal age of his death (i think) .. although that would suck, but it would become more dramatic this way...

that's just like bicentennial man, dying right after being declared human.
i really want to know what trisha thinks about marrying someone way beyond age. she just married a man centuries older than her and had kids with him. that's a bit freaky.
but i really hope Hohenheim gets his mortality back. i can't wait for him to tel his sons that he's actually immortal and left home just to find a way to be "normal" again.

It's interesting that Ed's mother Trisha knew about her husband, it must have been hard hiding that secret from your children. I really want Ed and Al to meet up with Hohenheim soon, there's lots of unsolved issues.
