About disrupting of alcemy circle (which created for "philosofer stone"), what will happen if someone blow up/ruin part of that tonnel? They (homunculs) created it for some reason, and protected it... Which means it have some importance...

i'm not sure what's needed in a country-wide alchemical reaction, but if it's the same as smaller reactions, they'll need to fill the tunnels with blood. i wonder how they're gonna manage that..
blood ? Errrr.. did they did blood for the trans circle ? i though they used chalk ?
Oh and thanks for giving me understanding in the flame and explosion ones. I haven't said so cause i think a thanks alone would be like a spam.
LONG LIVE HIME-SAMA. MY LIFE FOR RUMBLANDIA!
shoot you're right. blood was only used in special circumstances (wounded, etc). but then again, the main points of the circle are seeped with blood.. i'm not sure what else they would use to connect the circle.
If you all recall in previous chapters, several of the villains(Including the higher-ups military) all mention "opening the doors". Marcoh also said that the scheme was to make a giant philosopher stone but Envy stated that wasn't the objective. Recall when Ed and Al tried to transmute their mom and when it flopped Ed found himself in the room with the "Doors of Truth". Ed got sucked into the doors and when he came out lost his leg, but gained the knowledge to perform alchemy just by clapping his hands together and bond Al's soul to an armor. Seeing that you got that knowledge from a leg, imagine what you would get for sacrificing an entire country!!!
......
yes, but they were sacrificing a part of themselves in order to gain the knowledge. the people behind the alchemy circle are sacrificing others... so, that's probably the difference.
mm, but that reminds me... the ruin of xerxes. they ended up with a philosophers' stone which powers Envy. perhaps they actually messed up and was trying to attempt something else ? perhaps xerxes was a failed experiment and amestris is the new experiement.
if i recall correctly, they were trying to "throw God to the earth". perhaps what they're looking for is god-like (unlimited) powers.
on another note, chapter 69 will be out soon!
The blood requirement is met by the battles that already occured. The lives lost at the battle sites are the fuel for the mass transmutation.
I believe Mustang will have atleast one confrontation with Envy. He's still obsessed with avenging Hughes' death Notice how many times he's asked villains whether they were the ones who killed him?
I'M NO HERO, BELIEVE IT!
talking about the tunels filled with blood is ridiculous, really xD
Urameshi-sama is right)
moreover, Ed and the others were disscussing this topic while they were in the tunnels. I don't remember the chapter though...
The Witcher
yeah, i remember when he asked Barry) that was unexpected and his answer was funny)
