Thread: Hawkeye`s back (possible spoiler)

Maybe I`m just stupid for not figuring this out, but what is the meaning of the tattoo that looks like a transmutation circle on Riza`s back? Is she an alchemist?

as said in the manga, it's the complete collection of her father's work. presumably, it's the secret of flame alchemy, since in a flashback, she begged mustang to burn her back so that another flame alchemist won't be born - and her back is indeed burnt in the chapter where ed visits her.

edit: and no, i doubt very much that hawkeye is an alchemist or she would've used those skills already - we've seen her in battle a lot of times
