Thread: FMA manga or anime?

I would have to go with the manga. I really didn't enjoy the anime as much when it diverted from the mangas story line. I consider the manga story to be more entertaining. It's longer, has more characters and better plot twists. Also, it's a little less depressing.

I like the anime best, because I didn't finish read the manga... :P

First time I know FMA is from the manga, but in my country, the comic book is stuck at book 15 or so, and I wasn't familiar with mangascan back then... :P

but I was so curious about the end, so I borrow my friend's FMA anime, and, yeah...

Manga is better, but there are few things i like more in anime:

-characters are more balanced (human-like homunculi, sinful protagonists)
In manga you can feel this annoying "good" vs "evil" vibe, reminding you constantly that you're reading a goddamn shounen

-After some time anime becomes less comedical and more serious, even slightly dark near the end.

But i'll never forgive them for making the Shambala movie... it sucked so much.

yeah, i hate the movie, too, it was really dreadfull!!!
by the way, I didn't like the end of the anime as well, since the series when they added Dante, she siplifyed everything((
