I prefer the Manga, it's plot seems better constructed.

the manga, cuz the plot is way better than the anime. but stills the anime is very good and the action is very fluent, therefore the movie was just great.
The anime was great but I must agree with some of you that the manga is better to a degree. -_-;; I just wish they would hurry up and finish the series. I'd like to know what happens.
maybe i'd go for both... there's a difference between the two... but if i had to choose,,, maybe i'd rather go for anime... hahaha... im not quite a reader...
Now that I've read the manga after I watched the anime I've got to say that both have great stories. I like both but I'd choose the manga over the anime mainly due to a more complete story and the fact that it's ongoing. However if the anime never existed until the manga was finished and then they did the anime to be a direct conversion I'd probably prefer the anime since the style and voices were really well done with very minimal fillers.
Back from ban-hood, I blame explosm webcomics
I haven't read the manga through to the end, but if I had to choose I'd probly choose the anime. Though...it was a little long, wasn't it?
Despite what little experience I have with the manga, if 've learned anything it's that the source material tends to outshine movie/tv versions. Why? More time and space to flesh out characters.
Wow, i never even thought of reading the manga for FMA since i loved the anime so much. But after all the positive feedback about the manga i just have to give it a try i think.
I always choose the manga of a series I like because the manga can give you more insight into the series and also the anime always leaves parts out, making it differ from the manga.
The Manga is 10000000x way better than the anime. Anime is great but nothing compared to the manga. They ended it in a good way compared to all anime but still not an manga.
