I like the manga !It's better and I can slowly read it over and over while anime is faster than a slide show.. ^^
and becuz the anime is not so similar to the manga, whereas I like the manga's plot-->so totally devoted my attention to the manga^^

The anime was like 52 episodes...how is it fast?
I like the manga plot, but takes too long for story to occur.
At least the anime's over and is fairly good for the lack of development in the manga.

I like the anime better...perhaps because I saw it prior to starting the manga...

Hard to decide because the plot is really different, but if I must choose one it would be the manga.

The two of them is good, the plot is different.

Manga have some character that don't appear at anime and so is the opposite.
different time of dead, alive, main enemy, and such.

But to me, manga is more funny, coz the anime looks a bit too serious.

in my opinion the anime is shit...it was draged out in the early parts which made me lose my interest in it, quickly...so the manga is much much better in my opinion

The manga by far... bloody hell! Looking through it, it seems like every detail was planned out before the first volumn was made. Everything ties together, and the twists make M Night Shyalaman (sp?) look like a no talent hack.

I mean, c'mon, apart from the zomgfta scanlator, who guessed Pride? Be honest.

Since I read several times that the manga is way better than the anime, since he story changes drastically and since I've only seen the anime and thought it was very nice, I started reading the manga too. I'm busy reading volume 4 now. Up to now it follows the the same storyline as the anime but there are some minor details that have been changed.

Imho here are some major differences:
    - the manga seems funnier, there are some things shown in the manga that haven't been shown in the anime which are very funny, laughed out loud quite a lot
    - the manga has a much faster pace as the anime, for which I'm glad, THOUGH I think the emotional scenes don't have a big impact on me like they did in the anime. For example, the case of the little girl Nina, in the anime you can see several episodes in which Nina plays a role and then when IT happens, I felt terrible. In comparison, I didn't feel like that at all when reading it in the manga. So I feel the anime has some good points which the manga can't compare to. Though maybe it would be the same if I had first read the manga and after that saw the anime (like how I feel that the anime can't compare to the manga in Naruto now)

In short, even though I haven't read much yet, I feel like this at the moment:
the manga is funnier, more detailed, but less emotional than the anime

edit: reading volume 10 now and it seems the story is developing beyond the anime and getting a lot more interesting. I'm getting really curious about some characters. Also, I said before that the manga is less emotional, but I'm starting to think different now. I guess it's only because I already knew the story that it didn't touch me as the anime did, but the new developments do. So much has happened in vol. 09 and 10!! I 'm starting to love this manga!!
