Thread: Ideas Behind Pride?

I started reading the FMA manga more recently, although I'm all caught up now, too bad this section community dones't seem to be as big as Bleach even though i defenitly prefer the FMA manga story over bleach, bleach is entertaining, FMA is definitly more interesting i think. Anyhow, I don't know if this has already been discussed my apologies if they have but we haven't seen Pride yet in the manga who is bradely in the anime, and pride seem to be the the bigger bad ass from some dialogue between him and wrath. So are there any theories flying around about the manga pride?

Then again, *SPOILER DOOM...maybe(?)* Father refered to Hoenheim as if he were some strange creature he didn't completely understand.

they probably wouldn't pull another "omg, i thought he was a good guy" move as with the whole fuhrer = wrath. so i wouldn't expect pride to be one of the good guys that we've seen already. i would think he's a totally new bad guy.

No i dant think that Pride is the Fathe with the white robe that we have seen so far,actually i think that the is another humunuculus that has the sin :Pride .

My guess (and hope) is that Pride is a completely new character. We've already seen that the military is corrupt, there's no real need to hammer that home anymore, and I don't think it's Father or Hohenheim.

That, or Pride could be a character who's supposed to be dead...like Scar's brother or someone - but I think that would need to be handled with care.

Unless I'm mistaken, it can't be father, and it's heavily implied by father that it's not Hoenheim.

Scar's brother would be an odd surprise.

What gets to me though is, as we've seen with Gluttony, you might not even need an actual human body present to make a homunculous.

It would be great if he would be something new. Complitely new. Someone who will bring more info about father and homunculus with him
