None of the existing characters fit into the role of Pride. Cool, calm, calculating and independent, must be a new villain.
I hope it is someone new... having it turn out to be Winry or something would just push the limits of disbelief (and everyone would go LAAAAMMEEE)
I doubt it would be Kimbley, he's under constant guard --spoiler doom-- until he gets released in the recent chapters. (Although there could be some way around that).
I would bet money that it isn't Hohenheim. Pride reports directly to Father and Father was very eager to hear news of Hohenheim and didn't know he had children.
I'd go with the consensus and say that he's probably a character we haven't seen yet. Wrath is the only Homunculi that was a person we know and his creation was the only one that was different to the others.
Isn't Father Hohemheim?
Well... but does that mean that Hohenheim is the... uhm... transmuted self of the Father, or the other way around... and Pride... uh... Salem?
I think pride will be a totally new character, I also think honheim is "father's" brother, as opposed to his/her lover in the Anime. The only reason I say this is because of the amount of brotherly love and sibling devotion in the manga, I think because of this there has too be some kin tension.
Father's "Brother", does that mean that he created Hohenheim too? Hohenheim has a Philosopher's stone in his body too, right?
I don't think hohenheim was "created" by Father, now I know that comparing the anime at this point is kinda a moot point, but remember that in the anime Honeheim was brought back to life by Dante AFTER the creation of a philosipher's stone?
Another posibility: whose to say that father doesn't have a philosoper's stone in him?
As far as pride is concerned, you know who we haven't seen yet? Archer? Though I doubt that the author would put him in...
My BEST bet is still that pride is someone we haven't seen, but the only person I think that could be considered "pridefull" enough to be said homunculus is General armstrong, but face it theres no way she would be.
