So has anybody here seen the Fullmetal movie yet. I felt that it was pretty good but I was kind of disappointed because Ed and Al didn't return to Ametris. Plus Winry waited like sooo long for Ed but he just does back and then go away again. Is there going to be second movie or something? I hope so cause I am not overly satisfied with the ending as it is.
I've seen it. I was pretty satisfied by it...but I understand if you're disappointed about Al and Ed not going back...I kinda wanted a happy ending, but it was okay. I just wished I could have seen Mustang's alter. I wanted to see if he was just as saracastic as the Mustang Ed knew. But I find it weird, when did Mustang ever hurt his left eye? I don't recall it getting hurt before the movie...
i didnt like how the lady could instantly use awesome alchemy without any training and knowledge. sure she had her cult knowledge but they shouldnt have given her such a fast course in alchemy, to the point where she was on par (or greater) than ed. she shoulda ended up exploding herself in the first go ><
I know, I thought that lady was weird. Most people (I'm assuming) wouldn't know how to use alchemy on the first try (plus such HIGH level alchemy) or maybe she was driven on her lust for the 'utopia'. I know, Ed's so much cooler. xD
Plus that lady was kinda freaky...I don't get how she got all that black stuff on her face...
i think it's because she went through the gate. in the anime ed said when he went through it felt as though large amounts of information was being stuffed into his head. maybe the same thing happened to the lady but she was able to retain aome of it thus her being able to use alchemy.
I saw a really bad subbed version of it so I'm not sure if that affects my opion, but I didn't like it.
I kind of wanted them to both end up back in their own world. Plus I really didn't like how it seemed like Ed left Winry for the alter Roze.
I don't think Ed left Winry for Rose, he left Amestris to close the gate forever. And I think Winry understands Ed's reason for doing so...

I'm a little rusty cuz I haven't seen it in a while, but don't you have to give a toll or something to get through the gate? What did she give? All I remember is that both sides did some ritual to get it OPEN, but don't you still need to give up a body part or something to get THROUGH?
if there isnt a second movie i will riot! that ending blew thats all although the actual movie part was good.
lets PRAY the manga doesnt end up with the same shit for an ending ( that shit remark is not reffering to movie overal just the last 7 minutes) also the ending battles were to quick
