    i didn't cry when hughes die 'cause i read 'bout it in the manga before i saw the anime. was kinda sniffling when elicia was like "why are they burying daddy??..." i wasn't bawling like at the end of the series.
    Today, I got lost on the road of life.

    but it is the only series so far that has ever done something like that to me.
    and i can say i have watched more then 200 series.
    the only time i ever cried as a grown man is that part of fma and when i was watching the movie eight below (with paul walker , damn i felt so sorry for the dogs)

    Hughes was a wonderfulcharacter,always nice and so.. yeah.

    At first i could't belive that he was killed. The whole scene of funeral is great. Just great.

    I found it more sad when alexander and nina died. Hughes' death was pretty sad though.

    Well, being honest I didnt actually cried when he died but I felt really sad, specially in the funeral when Roy said its raining AND when Elicia Said Why are burying papa it really made feel something.
    A bit off topic but I will have to agree with jamie1990 though, in the anime it was more sad when nina and her dog where turned into a chimera and died.

    i didnt cry when hughes died, i dont know why but i was like... damn o well and read on but i cried when i "thought" other characters diedand i still have nightmares about nina :'(
