I'm tired of repeating myself... so...

TWG #2 will be hosted by me. =D

But

it will not start till after my spring break. Or else... you will have to wait a full week to figure out who died after the day/night... and I don't think you want to do that.

Besides... I bet some other people are going on spring break vacation anway. =D

So... mangaguy submitted some ideas for an added new format to game #2. It could make things more interesting. Ideas? Imputs?

TWG/Mafia set-up

Wolves/Mafia:
1 Godfather/Wolf Leader – turns up innocent when investigated/pinged
4 Mafia Goons – simple Mafia

Townies/Survivors of crash/whatever
4 Seers/Cops – 1 insane, 1 paranoid, 1 naïve, and 1 normal….. Don’t have to be like that…. To make the game more confusing….. For example…. The set up could be 2 insane, 1 paranoid, and 1 norm…. etc. You tell the seers/cops that they are normal even if they are insane….

1 Doctor/Guardian - obvious but you could also switch it around with cops. For example, instead of 4 cops and a guardian… 2 guardians and 3 cops

Bulletproof Townie – not able to be killed at night but can be killed by lynchs

Masons – 2 townies who know each other and that each of them are townies.

Governor - can call off a lynching
Serial Killer –
Serial Killer - Basic serial killer, kills one person per night
Cannibal & FBI pair – Cannibal is serial killer and FBI is cop but fbi tests to find the cannibal. When found out by FBI cannibal becomes basic townie and FBI becomes normal cop.
Psychopath & Psychiatrist pair – same as above

You're just pitching those out as single ideas, yes? Because that's too many. I think the Governor would be cool. Wolf leader might be cool, but one wolf having more influence than the others might be weird. and what is the naive insane thing? like does that have an effect?

I'd rather not muddy the waters yet. It's better to keep the game as simple as possible. So any chance for lying should be eliminated.

I don't really like the idea of a Bulletproof Townie. It sounds good at first but it might be too unbalancing for the wolves.

I like the idea of masons though.

What about a wolf who doesn't know that they are a wolf unless wolves try to kill them. That would be cool as no matter what alliences formed there could turn out to be a wolf amongst you. Something similar would have to be thought up for the humans but I can't think of anything yet. I'll get back to you.

I think that's a bit confusing for now. I mean, I think some are interesting but a lot of people just started playing and all. Why not wait another round or so to make it more complex?

In one Mafia game I played we had "police" who got two votes each round. =P (When there were only two humans left I convinced her to vote for the other human. *giggles* She was so shocked when she found out that she'd caused herself to lose the game.)
