Okay... I checked Forum Games for older RPGs but there were never any played in the past. So this will be the first...

If you want to play then let's discuss what kind of setting you would like:

- Fantasy (Classic D&D, JRPG or w/e)
- Future (Matrix, Shadowrun, etc.)
- Others (Manga, Vampire, w/e)

I think we should make it as easy as possible. No big experience points stuff or D&D dices... Just a HP and MP (If it's D&D) should be fine...

And you have to write your own character's setting and storyline...


My suggestion would be "System vs. Factory" that I played as Live Action RPG before:
The game is set in an old town, and has mafia and matrix elements. One side is evil (System) and tries to kill the rebels (Factory) who want to overthrow the status quo.
A lot of goodies have to be found to get information about computers and other members.
Every member has his own story and motives, and there are a lot of meeting places (clubs, bars, shopping stores and apartments)...

Of course, a gamemaster is needed... And the game should only be as long as one month...

Please come up with your own suggestions and if you would like to play...Maybe we can play with around 20 members if everything works fine...

Imo, we should start 1st of february if everything is set then...

Hmmm...sounds good.I actually wouldn´t mind playing some Fantasy based RPG (including Vamps as well...IMA BE A DAYWALKER :P) but what you proposed isn´t bad either....
I´ll have more time tomorrow to make some suggestion (if any) cuz tmrrw we write a chemistry test -.-"
And I don´t think we´ll gather 20 (Active)members...

Sounds good, but a few questions:
1) How is gameplay coordinated? Does everyone have to post before people can get a 2nd turn?
2) Don't you think we should set parameters for activity in the game? Otherwise, considering the scale of this game, we could end up with a game that never ends or goes dead because a number of players are no longer active in it?

I'd like to play either future or fantasy, or a mix.

Since this is our first time.
I would like to suggest that we should start with a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 players
and one game master.

I know we're gonna use random.org for the dice.
but I also think there's also website which can randomly generate dungeons.

right, so try it, I cannot participate for a period that long, i have semester test coming soon, but i'll be watching this game, it sounds interesting...
