At the beginning only you know about your side... I will send you a PM...

Mafia and townies have to find each other to collaborate and to identify the other side...

...you're telling me that we can't communicate through normal pms? So everyone basically depends upon you being active?
Is it AGAINST the rules though?

Can't we lie regarding our roles? Is that why you want to be the mediator so you can confirm them ?
I don't see any other reason why you'd want to keep count of who knows who's role. That and yoyu want to know when to 'unleash' the dragons, I presume? But this will only work in theory you know...

edit: oh wait...you told zia we COULD lie.
    then why the mediator..?

Werewolf: A normal human who can transform into a werewolf.
+1 on close combat when in werewolf mode
-1 on being hit by a maschine gun.
Positive ability: Can transform into a werewolf for several hours.
Negative ability: Prefers to walk alone. No team player.
Special ability: Can transform into an invincible Uber-Werewolf.
So what does the wolf need to do in order to win? Kill everybody?xD

^ The werewolf is not easy on cooperation that's all... Of course, he has to party up to win the game. But he won't respect anyone or be the leader... And he will vanish again without a word if the Quest of the party is over...

Of course you can communicate in a normal way, like saying 'Hello' to each other and so on... Only if you want to ask the other one about his side (you wisper him into the ear, lol) then it will be through PM... Every other dialogue is open to everyone...

And don't worry, I'll spend some hours since I got nothing special to do right now... Just writing some stuff...

You can lie of course, but I won't reveal your roles. I'm independent and won't tell if you lie... If someone is revealed by anyone, I will mention it at the beginning of each round like in the Mafia game... Of course, you can openly say that 'Person A' is a System agent and then let the others investigate... That's a possibility, too...

Btw, if you all chose werewolf you will find out that you can't help each other as good as in a multi species party...

It's going to be quite an amusing experience for you, I'm sure. xD
But you're in for it, as you said yourself. hahahahahha

But you didn't answer my wuestion. Why do you need to be a mediator?
And also, how do the wolves win the game?

Ugh, as you wish... I'll change the rule... You have the opportunity to ask openly for sides too... So the risk will be higher...
But you have also the other option of private conference.

As said before, wolves only team up if they are asked for and that only grudgingly... It's a part of your species role... Of course, you can team up with a wolf, but as a wolf you can't ask others for team up... That's the negative attribute... The 'lonely wolf'...

Keep up with questions everyone... I'll answer all you have...

^^ Aren't the wolves just a specie that might be either system or factory...

@morten, what if you just wanna reveal your role openly, like just "write-it-out-loud" in one post, for simplicity's sake...can you do that? or would do we need to mediate with you to tell all the other players?

EDIT; what do you mean by private conference?

You said wolves do not belong to any team. That means they are neither "mafia" nor "townies". And that they choose the side they want to be on. That means they can also change sides at any moment they wish, right?
But if that rule applies that wouldn't it mean that a wolf could decide his team when he notices that the particular team is winning?

but as a wolf you can't ask others for team up...
...But you team up with someone in order to survive. You can't really expect to prevent a wolf from teaming up with someone esle if his life is in danger just because he ia a wolf.
Also, how would you know if a wolf askes for a team-up or not?

edit: basically...same problem darkus stated. treating the wolves ina different manner might become problematic.

@darkus (I edited it, okay? DARKUS!) ) : I think you can reveal it. I mean he said you could reveal someone's role and let others investivate the thruthfullness of your statement so why not reveal your own?
Of course you could always LIE, so it basically means zero from the very start.

So wolves can't be like "HELP ME. Join my team"

So doing something of this terms is ok..."Don't help me, I am not going to fight the dragon at the location that I only know with the weapon only I have. I won't ask you to team up with me to kill the dragon."

I thought about evil and good species but that would be boring... I want to see elfs teaming up with cyclops, vampires, ogres and humans... So, no... There won't be a species dedicated to one side...

That's also a possibility... Every important action will be bold btw... So, it's up to you if you reveal your side already at the beginning or later to everyone... Of course, that's dangerous and the others might think you're lying... Or not...

No, they are like everyone else. Read my post above...

Yes, exactly... Wolves are like everyone else concerning sides... But they can't form up teams on their wishes. They depend on others to be asked and as said they are outsiders in the team... Like 'Wolverine' with the X-Men...
Of course, wolves can pay NPC mercenaries for helping them out... But he can't ask other Players for help, because it's against his 'wolf's pride'...
