^ would of been more fun if jakko and comp remained alive since they're the ones that stimulate the action, but the game went according to the plan, even though there where a lot of roles, it was general confusion and randomness that made the mafia win.

Honestly, I couldn't get any passion for this game. Maybe the amount of roles left everyone really disorganized, but I couldn't help but feel that there was a relaxed attitude about things. There was no townie alliance at all, from what I can see, and that's REALLY rare in a game. I know I just sort of sat around, waiting for stuff to happen.

Jakko's right; the mafia won because we did nothing. We made vague comments and didn't even lynch someone for days.

So three things I'd criticize about this game:

    1) Too many roles, many of them being pointless and fairly useless.
    2) Too few players, especially for a game that had multiple ways to kill people.
    3) The idea that we must lynch wasn't decided until later rounds, when we townies were already screwed over.

Also, inactivity should not be permitted. I don't recall adonai or Kiam posting very much if at all in the game, despite being clearly active. It's a natural bias for the townies to pick a target who is active and suspicious, but we have the rules of "you MUST post" for a reason, and it isn't fair that people can just sit the game out and still win. If we have those rules, they should be applied, not just stated at the beginning and never enforced.

Finally, has anyone else noticed that it seems the Mafia usually win when there's a lower number of players - regardless of how few Mafia there are? Twelve is not enough to have a game. Maybe you're enthusiastic to start, but it isn't enough. We get games like *this* where there isn't enough time for plans to be put in action because townies die off too quickly.

I would have postet, but there was nothing to talk about in the threads especially in the last days...
so if I had posted for postings sake I would have made myself most suspicious...

Being quite is a strategy in and of itself. If there had been a rule about posting, I would have played differently.

There *was* a rule about posting. It was just never enforced. It really does help people to actively play and manipulate rather than just hide in the shadows until the game ends.

It was discussed before the game started, but it never made it into the game (OP of the first day, ect) as far as I can tell.

If you did, urameshi would of killed you, and kiam would of survived.

@posts: Yes, I should have enforced posting. I should of made a rule that says "If you don't post in the form, you don't get to have any night actions." It would of helped the townies more.

I did enforce lynching, later on, but I did that to make it more even. I mean seriously, I don't have to think for you, you should of lynched people by yourself rather than wait around and do nothing, lol.

This is quite ironic...since I was planning to kill you yesterday with the psycho vote initially for that very reason. *Sigh*

Anyways, this game was only a half-assed effort by everyone. Jakko and Comp would have been the chief organizers, but they were picked off in the first few nights. And then yesterday I realized we were screwed, but decided to leave this game to finish studying for my exams, since there really was little we could do about it.

I'm going to try to stop jumping into quicksand in future games. Seriously...

^ You should try to be the leader, it's not that hard, just spam the thread till they oblige. :P (Ok, don't take advice from me I have the worst charisma here.)
