    We've had this before and it never really worked out.

    But it'd really suck to be that person. I mean, no one wants to die, and here you don't even have a choice.

    Simple roles: Some of these has been use in the previous game
    Evil-looking guy: (Townie) When he/she gets pinged. The results shows that they are a mafia but they are definitely a townie.
    No. Definitely not. That makes a game way too difficult, especially since seers don't always last too long.

    Cleric: They can choose one player everynight. That target player will learn that they are a cleric.

    Martyr: When this player dies. There won't be any other deaths on that night.
    Cleric is kinda pointless (I've been that before), but both roles sound okay. Neither give extreme advantages to the townies, but they're still fun to be.

    I like the Medium from the previous game better. We don't need any more deaths.

    No. Just... no. The Mafia always have advantages, and even with townie roles, the seer is the key to winning. Townies barely won the last game even WITH a seer that lived most of the game.

    I don't really have anything to add besides that. It's kinda cool to have an electable mayor, although maybe not in this game... What about another Hunter or whatever - a townie with some kind of ability to kill that can be used agaisnt potential Mafia?

    Would make more sense if he had an alternate win condition, he just have to be lynched. It would be much more in character, and it wouldn't make the role suck.

    Still, having that sort of win condition just doesn't seem very satisfying.

    Why don't we add a survivor character? One person on his own side, with an alternating kill ability (every 2/3 days?) and immunity to one death.

    We can add in a lucky bastard to help conceal this.

    Which is why I suggested that Light works for himself. He wins when all the townies with roles/mafia die, then he rules over the townies.

    @de:
    I wanted the teleporter to take place of the hitman, he might be hard to lynched for a while, but if everyone ignores him he won't get any kills.

    No fake seer, no evil looking guy, no need for a necromancer, stalker would be fun (but you wouldn't be able to change targets right?, wait if you stalk a mafia, and you tell everybody who he is, you'd die).
    For the giant Clam cult, we can make one person, who is the leader, and every one/two/three nights, he can make a person join the cult of the giant clam. That way, near the end of the game if some one says "clam" once, all the people converted would die instantly. :P (Joining a clam cult doesn't make you change allegiances from a mafia to townie, but should we let the clam people know each other?).

    btw the ** below each role is just a suggestion to add to the roles that I've suggested.

    @bipolar: no for the clams knowing each other. the mafias can use it for an instant win. I do like the idea of Light being a stand alone role but its' gonna be too hard to win

    as per the Necromancer, we can just remove the zombie idea and that they can revive a player every 4 days.

    @Urameshi: Rambos?

    * Killing roles - "Vigilante", "Rambo", "Crazy Veteran", "Bomb", "Terrorist", "Gravedigger", "Hunter", "Village Bicycle", "Human Torch", "Woodcutter", etc.

    Aside from Mafia, Werewolves, and Serial Killers (solitary guilty parties), the Innocents may have some roles with the ability to kill at night. The Vigilante is an "innocent" who kills every night, in his own night-time phase,[20] in some variations, having a limited "bullet" supply for the entire game. The Bomb/Crazy Vet may only trigger if targeted at night (not necessarily for death) by another role. Variants exist where this person can kill during the daytime cycle (e.g., the Terrorist / Gravedigger), sometimes only if executed during the daytime (e.g., the Hunter / Village Bicycle). One killer can have the ability to kill several other people at once. For example, Rambo can kill three adjacent victims.[21] And, if killed in the night, the Human Torch can kill the two surviving players closest to them in the morning. The "Woodcutter" or "Hunter" can take one other person with them when they die.[22]

    If your choosing to make a teleporter role, add a 35% chance clause that theres some sort of error and either the teleporter them self dies or the target along with the teleporter, making it more of a strategic use rather then "LOLZ CANT KILLZ ME I R TELEPORTING"
