^actually thats what I did in my game XD. I made a short story for almost each action everyone did in the TWG. I will have to say it is hard but you can have fun while your at it. (I had Sirus flash DE but DE ended up giggling at his ... err little friend)

for the format of that game is it like this:

    example:
For the ship game: A Weird noise was heard outside the ship in the middle of the night
    A. They start out from the crew cabin. they options like:
-stay inside the cabin and let the others go out and check it out
-go with everyone who wants to check it out

    A. 1people who stayed behind
-wait for them to return. (ends up dead)
-wait for an hour and if there is no response then they'll go out. (meets up with the A. 2)

    A. 2people who went out
-look for the captain in the deck
-search for the source of the noise (this guys ends up dead)

    is it like this?

Yep. We can make the options for a group, or individually (I.E everyone is in a large room in a cave, do they go to the door in the right, with a weird symbol/flashing light/some other clue or the door on the left.
    Door on the right; survival
    door on the left; death
We can also add items for fun.
I.E. Someone finds, and item, this item will kill a random player (random.org). Or it could make the admin ask another specific player (the one with the item chooses) a very hard question.
If we want, we can make a random player a serial killer, psycho/guardian etc so that he tries to get every item he could, and kill as much as he can.
The object of the game could be to
    a) find the treasure (everyone is greedy, so you'll have to kill everybody else) or
    b) wait to be rescued (survive until then)
    c) catch the murder (usually by being the laster player on board, or surviving for a number of days, the murder is usually an npc i.e he can't be killed until day 15, or the last surviving player can find him)

or we can copy Greed Island from HxH. They can go around and collect rare items (10-15 slots)
and they can choose to either use them or keep them.
using them will help them survive longer and take out other players but if they did then its gonna take a lot longer to collect them all.
    b) wait to be rescued (survive until then)
So if they've survived up to ... let's say "day 10". then the game finishes as a survival win?
    c) catch the murder (usually by being the laster player on board, or surviving for a number of days, the murder is usually an npc i.e he can't be killed until day 15, or the last surviving player can find him)
Finding the killer: we can add this as an extra mini game inside the game. If you were able to take out the killer then you get some kind of prize. it can be any of those...
    -Instant win
    -a very rare item
-become a god (you can become a game mod)
-become the killer (I know its weird)
-you gain some very valuable information

Now we have a basic idea. Ok more thing I wanna ask.
Are we gonna make the game open ended (I.e they can go to a different number of places), or linear (everyone is in the same room and they advance together, or die.)
Open ended games are much harder, but could be more fun. Linear games are easier to manage, we can also make it fun if we make it fast paced).
We gotta try out a few rounds till we perfect a basic script.
