(Okay, here's a bit of a change. Counting votes this time was really a hassle, so from now on if you don't include your gang name in your vote, IT WILL NOT BE COUNTED. There's a possibility that today's deaths might be incorrect, but if there is that's you guys fault for ignoring my requests and forcing it to become set rule. Also, I'll say it again, no actions taken after the end of the specified timeframe for a day will be accepted.
And then there was chaos.
DE's death erupted this end of a city into a fire of confusion. Rival gangs roved the streets, not even bothering to hide their weapons as they gestured angrily to their opponents. No one trusted anyone any more, even as their 'true' opponents had seemed to give themselves up. These people now walked through the town in full-out business suits, as if flaunting their seemingly bulletproof roles.
Shortly after the sun went down, Adonai walked down the street. He had a crooked grin on his face, and he was deep in thought. Things were going on, turbulent things... a new dawn was about to begin for the residents of Skull and Bones. And Adonai would be on top of the pile, shining bright...
Headlights rushed towards him, along with the sound of gunfire. A white van covered with green graffitti sped towards him, spitting bullets out the window as it came. Adonai grinned, unamused.
Bullets splintered the walls a block him, coming closer. All the sudden, the screech of another set of tires broke the silence. A small gray car drove past, just as the van approached Adonai. The bullets ricocheted off of the car's apparently unbreakable windows. The van screeched to a halt as the car drove off. Adonai was gone; he'd made fine use of the distraction, and taken his chance to make a quiet exit.
Comp was not so lucky.
A sea of orange engulfed him, four large bodies closing in on him. The dull thud of flesh against flesh could be heard, and the muffled grunts of violence. There was a quiet hiss as a knife was drawn; seconds later, the group backed off. Their orange shirts had been stained red, and Comp's broken body lay limp in the gutter.
Throughout it all, no one had thought about Rypkord. He was reluctant to join in this riot that had gripped the city he called home. He walked out a few blocks, to the pier.
This was a slightly nicer part of town. Cheery neon lights lip up the sky back at shore; Rypkord stood at the end of the long dark pier gazing out into the black sea before him.
He didn't hear the footsteps. He didn't notice a thing.
He was found dead the next morning, washed up on the shore with a bullet in the back of his head.
