Hello all and welcome to the latest installment in our lovely little tradition of mafia games. I'm Gus, and I'll be your host this time into the wonderful little world of deceit, lies, and good clean fun.

There's going to be a bit of a twist to this game. Instead of the usual townie.v.monster setup, this game will be played as townie.v.townie.monster. There will be two teams of townies, 'East Gang' and 'West Gang'. The 'monsters' in this game will be known collectively as 'The Corporation'.

This game will be set in an urban environment, the plotline circling around the turf war over an empty local lot between the two rival gangs of the area and a developing corporation hoping to buy the property to build a new grocery store. This being a lawless ghetto, (and a version of the mafia game), these teams will be forced to kill each other off in order to win claim to the land.

Due to the possibly confusing new structure, the roles will be limited to the basic. The Stalkers, or 'seers', (one to each gang), will each be able to find out the identity of one player once every other night. If the player they chose is killed that night, they gain a clue as to the identity of the killer. The Guardians, also one per gang, have the ability to protect one player from death of ANY type every night. However, this player cannot protect himself. The Corporation members will be divided at random between the two teams, and will work together to fight both gangs.

Each team must kill every member of both opposing teams to win the game. Each gang has one collective lynch every day (they're to be voted like normal, but the results will just be split up between the players' gangs), and each Corporation member must send me a vote every day to vote on what one person they want to kill that night.

Sign up here. I must have an even number of players in the end, and the number of Corporation members will be decided by the number of people who choose to play.

Oh. One more thing. I will most likely not be able to get on at the same time every day, or even at all some days. However, at the beginning of every day I will set a time when night phase begins. After that point, no more actions may be made by any player. After that, I'll start the next thread as soon as I can.

And, since I forgot to write it above, gang alliances will be chosen at random just like any other role.

Also, Sirus, remember that the bad guys have just as much chance being within your own ranks as on the other team. Nothing is so simple, is it?

Does that mean that gang members won't know each other?

Also, about the Guardian, with any type of death do you also mean lynches?

And secretly some of them are Corporation members unknown to the rest of the players.
But if the eastside players know each other just like the westside players, why do they need a seer?

Like that, yeah.

But those guys won't know the roles of any of their gangmates, just their outside alliances. So the seers are needed to check both sides for bad guys.

And yeah, guardians can protect against lynches. Only seems fair, keeps one team from just lynching the other's leader day one with no resistance.
