Super rumble..
Ok, Henchys idea was ok. So I went a step further.
ps. its not a finished product yet, its on beta stage.

Its going to be more or like:
Defining the power/items of the game
We might create a standard base of balanced powers/items.
But creation of new powers are ok, with aproval of the game mod:

- Choosing Powers and Items
After the power pool, and item pool are selected, each player will bid on the power they want.
EX. Irec want the power of ----, so he bids 8 points
If you have the winning bid you will recive that power, and have the points subtracted from your inicial pool (100)
If two or more people want the same power, the one with highest bid wins, losers don't lose any energy. But if that who lost didn't bid on any other power/item, he will end up with NONE.

Game Phase
- Alocation phase
Each player alocate how much energy/points they will use for each action:
- Attacking (must have a target, unless stated)
- Defending
- Using power/item

- Resolution phase
The numbers each player alocated are revealed and calculed.
ex.
Irecinius (92 points)
- Attacked random_person 42
- defended 50
- Using power/item 0

random_person (80 points)
- attacked irecinius 50
- defended 30
- Using power/item 0
(ps. random_person has a power that costed him 20 energy)

So Irecinius did 42 damage -30 from his defence, so 12 points went thru.
random person did 50 damage -50 from the defence, so no damage.

Now, next round the damage taken is subtracted from the total points that person has:
ex.
Irecinius - 92 points
random_person - 68 points

Person dies when has no more points left.

I think we could get few people first, then we can set some power..
And I'm blantant going to copy some from *ahem* that section, you know..

But I think we can create a topic and put them all together for future reference.
And you could create your own on the fly (of course we tweak it a little.. to not be overpowered)

If you wanna start creating some powers go ahead.

I thought about some ability/item balancing.. some will burn energy to activate, so you will lose energy like you took damage.

When you make the power think:
It will cost energy to be activated? Or its a Passive ability.
What is the draw back of using said power.

Item can be like this
Quote:

Claws of attack - Attack / Passive
- Claws of attack adds X damage to your attack, where X is the Item's Power Level.
You can only use this item if you didn't use any other power or items in this round.
What is the "Item's power level" simply is how much you bid in that item.
If I had bid 20 points to get claws of attack, it would add 20 damage..

----

If anyone wanna help, I'll try to get some basic on creating items, like power energy burning cost.. such.. tho I'm not that good with it..

I just developed the concept..

I'm trying to tweek it..

Because the game can go fast, soon all players send their action it goes into the new alocation phase, then they can send it again..

But it can take a while if someone goes out for a day or so. the game itself is open for sugestion and changes..

I'm trying to adapt it best for forums..

What I thought just now was something like

Everyone starts lv1 100points no power.
Then they have a choice:
Train, attack other player

If they go train, they go to somewhere fight a monsters. Random org will give like, monster attack and such..

Then he can spend buying more power..

So in other words the game itself can go forever, although new players will have a hard time going..

Maybe I can make you invunerable while you train..

If you can tweak things to make it simpler I'll try it. I'm interested at the very least.
