The days were growing longer and longer and the townies fewer and fewer when yoda finally gave himself up. Quickly dispatched with a blade to his neck, there was little satisfaction in that, but far more among the townies who knew that their ordeal was nearly over and some, at least, would live.
The next day began solemnly when El Gus came to the square and announced the death of adonai, whose body was still in the mayor's home - no one really cared to go check anymore. Awful scene. With their mayor gone, and the hired help refusing to tell them how many zombies were left - although they had a good idea - things were slightly less organized.
But did they need to be, at this point?
