TWG #7 Day Four: Mirage

Story courtesy of...well, Dante sent it to me, so I'm going to guess he did it. Someone please correct me if that's wrong.

In frenzy, the villagers decided to lynch the first one that would come into their sight. There was no reason, nor proper judgment, just blood-thirst. The desire of feeling secure made, even the most of the peaceful and reasonable villager follow such a barbaric and horrendous idea. Only one villager, Compjotr, seemed not to agree with it, and tried to appease his fellow villagers; sadly, his efforts were in vain.

No long it was before, shrouded by the crystal moonlight, a man with good looking and elegant features walked by. After a short time he noticed the horde of mad villagers. The man closed up a bit, and while wearing a warm smile in his face, he bowed down in a refined way, and bid a humble greeting.

Regardless his proper and gentle manners, the uproar did not cease. The clamour for his death persisted, and the objects that would serve as tools for his death were already in the villagers hands. Madness could be seen in the villagers eyes, who were claiming for the man's life. Compjotr could not help but to run away after realising what would happen.

Without any warning, a villager hurled a trident at the man. It happened so suddenly, so fast that such an ephemeral moment was beautiful. That fraction of second in which the trident was hurled by the villager and in which the man was pierced was so perfect, that if it would have been made into a painting, it would be considered a masterpiece.

Compjotr kept running away until he was far enough from that terrible scene, at that moment he fall onto his knees and weeped for the man's life and for his powerlessness. Some minutes later, while he was still crying, he felt a presence behind him, and expecting to find some sort of consolation he turned around immediately, but any trace of hope vanished on the very moment he realized what was before him. Compjotr tried to run away, but he could not escape from the claws of death.

The events at the square where the villagers tried to quench their blood-thirst were not finished, for the man was still standing there, impaled, under the crystal moonlight, with not reaction at all, but he did not seem to be dead. His facial expression had not changed. The warm smile, and the tender way in which he watched the villagers was the same. It was as if nothing had happened.

After witnessing such an event, the villagers in confusion, fear and despair kept hurling their tools at the man, but even then, his expression did not change, not even for an instant. The villagers stared at the man in disbelief, who was he? Why wouldn't he die? Why was he still watching them gleefully?

There was a transient silence, and all of a sudden, the man turned around elegantly, and started to move, with slow steps, in the direction he had came from. Not long was the distance he had walked, when he stopped and turned to face the villagers; his expression was not able to be seen by the villagers. There was cold breeze, and an air of death. Fear started to take over the villagers until the moonlight illuminated the man's face, revealing the same warm expression he had always kept.

"Good luck" said the mysterious man, then turned his face, kept walking, and as if he was embraced by the darkness of the night, the man disappeared.

The following morning three corpses were found; they belonged to Compjotr, Jakko and Kolox. Another grim morning had started, but there was no time to mourn, for the monsters where still roaming out there.

That was interesting...was anyone actually lynched? There shouldn't be...

As I said before, Compjotr is a non-roled townie. Jakko happens to be the last vampire, and since I ordered the hit on Kolox (without telling anyone besides Jakko) that means that he would probably be a wolf (I'll wait for panda to confirm or deny this).

First of all, to proove to you all that we are indeed werewolves, Compjotr's name will be posted on the third night on the bb.
Now, we shall confess to you all that we did not participate in the murder of hanul.
Obviously the vamps did it, which prooves panda was lying, and that hanul was innocent.
There is more than 1 vampire, so adonai, you either are lying, or are being lied to.

Actually it proves nothing at all. Stop trying to make stuff up. Jakko was a Vampire, and Kolox was a werewolf. Comp was a townie :O

I don't know how the vampire rules work, but it is possible that Hanul was a vampire, right? Either they could have used an assassin (Jakko?), or voted... that would probably require Hanul's assistance, though, and I have a hard time seeing that. However, we still knew that Hanul died by vampire assassination from that bulletin board, so the wolves prove nothing.

So now Kolox is dead... El Gus wasn't attacked. Either the werewolves didn't believe him, didn't want to kill him, or had other priorities. Does that mean we lynch tonight?
