Turkey, if you want us as friends, know that we certainly don't oppose that idea. But I doubt we could do much for you from where we are. Give us 5 turns and maybe we could be of service.
Dear cousin choppitychop89, you were a good relative, though I hardly knew ye.

Listen, you had your chances for Portugal, for quite awhile. But instead you decide to take England.Youve made your decision and youve picked england.Don't be greedy.

Huh, well if you feel that way then whatever but you should be looking at your south instead of at the Iberian peninsula. Believe it or not, you've already got your next encounter lined up. And the Marse army will be heading around to portugal anyway, it's not worth the effort when you have territories just to your east that you could take while setting up for that encounter. But I'm not here to play your advisor so just think about your own situation instead of trying to aggravate other people who never did you wrong.

I had a a mutual treaty with England before you massacred them. And you cant get to portugal in this turn.Thats 3 sea's away. From what I'm seeing, you can only move 2 sea's at a time.Besides, theres still time to work this out though, were both sides can be satisfied.I'm willing to give up the thoughts of taking portugal and allowing you to have it.But what will I receive in return?Afterall, its neutral territory,a free for all land grab so I have just as much of a right of keeping portugal and spain seperated, and taking portugal.

That really isnt that good of an offer.Thats like the same as me telling you that I won't attack you.I want a better offer, how bout backing off of Germny for 2 turns?Does that sound like a good deal? You back off from Germany for 2 turns, and you get portugal, its win-win.
Its a little scary how France is sorta doing what Napolean did.Cept he hasnt attacked Italia yet.
