The Story
Fairville had always been a peaceful town of peasant huts, bordering on the wilderness and the river. All was pleasant, until the river flooded, cutting them off from the rest of the world, and the townsfolk started to disappear, one by one. The townsfolk gathered to hunt down whoever was doing this, for their own survival. (vote, people!)

This post is mainly for the benefit of DigitalDragon.

This is a generic message being sent to every single player who is on TWG. Everyone should have gotten this in a PM as well cause I like to reiterate myself.

First and foremost,
I am a mere townie.

After seeing DD's post in the Sign up thread that said all roles were already assigned and pmed to people, i was VERY happy to be named a townie.

This is why. I can FINALLY spill the knowledge I have gain from the previous games to this one.

(By the way, I strongly hope that this does not convince you 100% to trust me. I am not trying to proclaim any innocence)

I am just trying to give a warning to everyone.

DO NOT under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE tell ANYONE YOUR ROLE!

DO NOT TRUST ANYONE!

Do you see the wolves parading around telling "I am a wolf??"
NO!

So, I better not catch wind of anybody going "I heard from so-and-so that so-and-so is the seer!"

FACT: All wolves will say they are townies because it is too risky for them to pretend to be a position of power (such as a psychic) and that draws too much attention to them.

Do not trust anyone who says they are a townie.

SEERS, GUARDIANS, AND PSYCHICS STAY HIDDEN!

Never, under any circumstance, feel the need to tell anyone who you are. ONLY talk to people who are 100% confirmed innocent. (AKA, getting a message from DigitalDragon)

I am speaking from 1 gaming experience as a wolf and 1 gaming experience as a host.
In the last TWO games, I know for a fact the wolves knew the major rules pretty damn early in the game.

Let's try not to repeat history again.

You'll say you have a "Secret code" to communicate with people.

I call Bullshit.

I have yet to see a secret alliance without at least one wolf in it.

I second what CPR says. I was on the outside last game, observing things, and I saw much the same as what CPR just said.

Please, anyone with a role, do not trust me, do not trust CPR, do not trust your best friend on the forum. If I talk to you, I expect you to assume until proven otherwise that I am a wolf, and that you will feed me false information if you give me any at all.

Only talk with those that you have confirmed to be a human or roled individual, from DD himself. Once you have a person you can trust, have them talk for you.

Never make a group, in my opinion, bigger than four, it is just too much of a risk. You can make multiple groups of a small size, but it is best that the confirmed non roled humans make those groups, keeping you safely in the shadows.

That said, I will now say that I am a human, a regular townie, and I expect all of you to think that I am a wolf until proven otherwise. Remember, trust no one.

Oh wow! It's already started! I have to third coolpuprocks, though - if you have a role, keep it quiet! Wait before telling anyone, until you have a better idea of who else may have a role, and what it is. Don't go around bragging or confiding at the beginning of the game - it WILL backfire.

Generic claim: I am a townsperson.

CPR - 1st off, you have just made a pretty bold statement that you are likely to be a wolf. You said never trust anyone claiming to be a townie, since they are likely wolves, right after claiming to be one.

2nd, how come I didn't recieve a PM from you? I thought I was in the game too.

This was my mistake.

I sent the messages in groups of fives. Yours, jakko's, kaze's, and sherman's got lost in the process because the name "Nogard_Laets" does not exist! (BAD DD!!) It really is "Nogard Laets") Because of that one faulty username, the message was unfortunately not sent to everyone.

3rd, if we don't form secret alliances, how the hell are townies supposed to communicated?

YOU HAVE SEEN IT FOR YOURSELF! TWICE! ALL ALLIANCES HAVE FAILED IN TWG HISTORY

I cannot stress that enough.

Personally, right now I am trying to stall. Stall for time so the seers may live longer than 3 days and actually pin important people.

Except for if
a. DD gives them a message of who is the clerc
b. They recieve a pm from the seer, telling them their role, and asking to form an alliance (people with roles only)
c. A seer has figured out that they are the insane seer, and tells everyone with "wolf" results, asking to form alliances. (actually, you are an idiot if you trust someone who pms you that).

THIS IS HOW A GROUP SHOULD BE FORMED!

Forming a group without this preset is useless. If one wolf is present, the group WILL NOT SUCCEED!

Like I said before, do not talk about your roles unless if you get 100% confirmation from DIGITAL DRAGON that it is safe.

There is no need to rush.
