Concerning "Hen"

I'm not sure if this is the right part of the forum so bash me if I'm doing something wrong.

Well I just thought you should know that the description of the manga called "Hen" that you can get at this site is false. That Hen is not the same Hen as the one Hiroya Oku (Gantz) drew - it's an entirely different story.
I've read the real Hen and you can tell it's the right one, it's quite similar to Gantz in the drawing style.

I don't know who made the Hen on this page though, but I think you should correct this. The rest of the description is correct though, but I'm not entirely sure as I haven't read more than a few pages of that crap. =)

dont hate on it i rather like that manga. if you can post proof of this other manga by the same name we'd all be grateful. thanks for bringing it to our attention!

HEN is actually 2 different stories that entwine. Each set of characters meets up with the other during the course of their respective tales.

Suzuki & Satō: Ichirō Suzuki, a straight young man who becomes besotted with another guy, Yūki Sato, convinced his bishonen love is a girl trapped in a boy's body. (I hear that their story starts at volume 4)

Chizuru & Azumi: Sexy student Chizuru Yoshida, to her utmost horror, falls in love with another girl, the innocent Azumi Yamada.(the one on this site).

and certain characters look simliar to gantz (eg that Young male teacher whose name i dont remeber at the moment)
hence being Oku's

no, actually that hen is by oku (gantz author). it is easy to tell because it is his style of drawing faces, and the same style of breasts.

Funny thing actually. Oku Hiroya wrote both of these versions of Hen. Just that he changed the stories abit. This Hen that is beng hosted here is a rather new version. I own the "Akai" volume of Oku Hiroya's Collection work and it has a collection of his earlyish work "Suki" which has almost exactly the same story as the Hen that is currently being hosted. I have also seen the original HEN manga by Oku HIroya which chronicles both the original HEN stories.
Shin0 is both right and wrong, because in the latter half of oku hiroya's HEN series,a similar story of Chizuru and Azumi appears (i think, i'll follow up on this post at a later date). So yea, from my understanding of it i think Oku Hiroya just redrew and rewrote his original Suki story and re-released it as the current Hen that is being hosted.
