That is a good idea. However, what about manga's that are multiple genres? Like Suzuka, which is sports and romance? Or Mahou Sensei Negima, which is comedy and shounen? Would you have a link to those kinds of mangas in both genre sections, or only in the one you think it is more of?

you could take a 10 second search at an engine like www.animenewsnetwork.com and find out the genre on your own =P

What she said. Easier on the people running the site, less for them to do, and you might accidentally find out about a manga you like while searching.

Just look for what you want and if they don't have it. Tough got to look somewhere else............... Its not like it stretches the page out to an annoying distance or anything.

I usually do my reasearch before buying manga or Downloading it but thats just me.

Other people have asked for other kinds of sorting. To cater for all your wants is impossible.
