Spanish Translations

Well, i'm from mexico and i'd like to propose a small group that works the scans in spanish.

I don't know, maybe it could be a good idea and increase the visits to the site and the forums.

What do you mean? You the site to host spanish manga or an forum for spanish dudes, or are you speaking of something totaly different?

But I doubt that any off those two things that I mentioned will ever happen

I think hikari_eiri would like a small section with some of the mangas translated too, to spanish.

I´m from Spain and maybe could be a good idea. A lot of people in the world (and in this forum) speak spanish...

But, in the other hand, if we are here is because we can speak english too.

What do you think?

Anyway, if someone want to work in english-spanish manga translations I´ll be able to help.

Well generally this is an english only site. Although we had to accomodate spanish gantz fans recently. While I do agree that a spanish scanlation group would be great, there is simply no need for it. This is mainly an english only site and it would be counter-intuitive to host manga where the majority cannot read it. I'm sure there are many spanish manga scanlating sites out there. Perhaps you should go check those out?

I would help if someone start a new forum cause I did the small bit in gantz section and it was hard to cause the negative feedbackfrom the others

Why don't you guys group together and make one? I'm sure many of the native spanish speakers would prefer to go to a spanish site instead of this one.

If you do make spanish translations, I doubt ST will pick them up and host them simply because they get enough traffic from English translations. I'd advise all you Spanards to make another website or something.

Yeah agood ide a have a some mangas in spanish

Well, as I said above, I´m from Spain, but I think 1cor1313 is right. This is an english site, and to host mangas in languages unknown to majority here is some kind of nonsense, and is against the purpose of this site.

There are other places with spanish scanlations and maybe is better to look for it instead of trying to change this place.
