Thread: Credit

Hey guys, I'm new here, so I just thought I'd post a little something. I'm a member of one of the scanlation teams of which two of our projects are posted here, and I'm glad to know that you folks actually keep the credits page from our releases in your d/l files. It has irritated me for a bit that Tazmo's been whoring out our stuff, for cash nonetheless.

Scanlating is not about money, ever. And it should stay like that, since I feel that it's an important way to inform readers about the popular culture of other countries. This is not to say that I don't have qualms to begin with about the ethical issues of scanlating (I'm still trying to work it out myself).

You should not have to thank people for leaving your credits up. We don't modify any of the files we download other than the filename.
