Thread: md5 hash

Hi,

Is it possible to provide MD5 hashes (or filesize) on the files? This would make it easier to verify that the files downloaded correctly.

What happens is that sometimes I download a new series, wait for the 1st one to finish, unzip, download 2nd while reading the first. If 2nd finishes, I download #3, while reading #1. Sometimes, I can get quite far ahead, especially if I'm reading one series and downloading another.

Then, I find out that #3 was bad, and I now have to re-download it, and wait for #3, so that I have continuity.

Not the world's biggest problem, but...

It's a good idea, I might look into how hard it would be to set something up like this. The problem is most of our members don't even know how to read, trying to explain how to verify MD5 hashes would not work out.
