Thread: posting off topic or in wrong section

maybe kevin u should move that thread u created in the help section to the announcement section so that every1 would know about it? or maybe included in the rules for every section as i see that the Feedback section don't have any rules or such...

and i was wondering if it were better to just warn that user once if he/she made that mistake and if they do it again temp ban? would that be better?

'Warnings' have been posted in several threads about it before.

And in every thread in the help section you find newbies that post offtopic and get a temp ban. That should be seen as a "warning" but no one seems to care (they just ignore it). Then they deserve a temp ban

oopsie i guess i didn't explain my idea of warning properly i mean having a status bar simialr to that of downloadanime.org which show the warning lvl as this way they would surely know whether or not they r warned or another method is sending private pms to them.....i mean not many check back to the thread they orignally posted many times to see if they were warned or not =/ thus somtimes ppl would post asking reasons y they r banned or they didn't know caused they didn;t recieve any warnings.

I've seen that before, invison boards have that option so it would be easy.

But this is an phpBB board and that option does not exist atleast not to my knowledge
