Thread: About new format for online reader.

I noticed today that the manga download pages and the online reader have gotten a facelift. I really like the extra spacing the new format gives to the download pages, but the reader has come with a small issue; that it(at least for me) cuts off right side of the manga pages. I've tinkered with my browser settings a bit to see if it was something caused by those but to no avail. The pages always showed up correctly in the reader before so I'm thinking it has to do with the changes that recently were implemented. However, I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else so maybe its just something on my computer.

Yeah this is true for me as well. I tried to look for information about this but didn't find any. Is there a way to fix this or downloading the manga is our only choice? Pls help

It's not something we can really change on our end. It has something to do with how the page has been created and programmed. Only the ones who actually changed the online viewer can change things. But yeah, it's really troublesome, especially with double page spreads. :s

Also, for the download/chapter selection page, I find there is too much spacing between the links. Although that's only my personal opinion

What manga series/chapter are you guys viewing with these issues? I had to do a lot of upgrades and thought I got all of the bugs. Please let me know so I can investigate.

It appears to affect any and all double page spreads. I don't have any clue how may other manga it affects, but I've noticed that Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru gets its single pages cut off as well in its latest chapter. I haven't gone back and checked the others yet. I don't think it will affect all of them the same because the first chapter of HSD Kenichi is ok except for the double pages.

EDIT:
Well maybe it would be more correct to say it will only affect scans beyond certain dimensions since it looks like the reader is constrained to one set region on the page. Like one large table cell or a page in the page kinda deal. Before the reader window would expand to accommodate the size of the page being viewed, but the reader stays the same size all the time no matter the size of the page loaded. On top of that it doesn't even give scroll bars to adjust the page within the reader window so we could still view it.

Yeah, it seems that it is affecting all series with scans larger than the window dimension. Only solution i can find right now is to download the manga to view the whole page.

Does the same thing to me cuts off the right side of the page when reading the online manga prime example

The for translators needed front page all the right side is cut off if you click and drag the picture you can see what it's supposed to be but its still cut off

Needless to say the new format is cutting the whole right side of the manga page when you read online and God forbid it be a page where they show a large picture or one where they put 2 manga pages in one we lose a whole page.

I can save the picture while viewing it and its all there but I can't see it off your site. Please fix

Have The same problem as everybody else. The right side. Also the next page icon is missing on some pages. If it was not for the page list pop-up list you could not get to the next page.
