My name is Bader and I would like to talk to you about butterflies. I'm just kidding, I don't want to talk about butterflies, what I really want to talk about is reviving ST. (I don't know why this sounds like a speech, but I'm bored.)
I have an idea, while it ain't the best, and maybe I'll get flamed for it, might refresh ST to get new members, or at least give ST a chance to come back again.
Temporary admins. (Excluding me, I don't have the time.)
If the current admins agree, you guys can put up temp. admins in the forums to change things for a bit. They might start new threads, delete stuff, allow stuff, and whatever they will do, it won't make things any worse over here.
(They might even delete the bots at the forums games thread.)
This is in no way a disrespect to the current admins, they've done a wonderful job all these years, but it might be interesting to see a new direction or something.
(If you guys don't want the new admins to get attached, you can give them a time limit, lets say a month, before they get to be regular members again, and then you can get different admins or what ever else you want to do.)
This is what I thought off, I don't know if it'll work or not, but it's better than nothing.
Anyone else got ideas?
Is that intended as a way to revive the site or the forums?
Forums, I guess. Idk about how the site itself is doing.
I don't see how this'll help the forums.
The community has been broken and most have left due to disputes, disagreements, new rules, and lots of very bad decisions. I don't see how it'll ever recover, and I especially do not see how this suggestion could do anything.
People can say whatever they want, but the community is dead so it's not going to make a difference. Some might say it's always been like that, but there wasn't a time when there was only 10-20 people on average online for such a long period of time and with so little discussion.
Best suggestion would be to get more members and more members who actually want to stay to post. Also give them a reason why they'd want to stay and post.
How about assigning a few members with the task of posting 1-2 (non-spam) threads a day? Maybe they can put a little research in it, so that they can provide some info in the opening post.
Another point is that the temp. admins can change rules or be more lenient (temporarily) too see how things go from there.
To be honest, I think the best way to revive the forums is to keep all the hosted series current with all available chapters, adding them as they come out. Without new chapters, there's not much to stay for.
My apologies for not doing more here. They're... really, really bad.

Digi, I didn't mean blame you for the bots, lol, but I just thought if we have some temp. admins (that we continually turnover), they can implement different ideas.
Also can it be possible to move the forum games and the game talk section to the "General" section.
It's because they're all the way down there, so new members won't notice it as much (and they're only two sub-sections, or whatever you call them).
Actually, I find the temp mods thing quite interesting. I was thinking about it for a while but was too lazy to say anything.
Anyway, ST is going to die, so I think there's isn't any need of a reason to try smth like this. Even if nothing works, at least it would make it a bit more interesting and entertaining. Even if it's just other members laughing their asses. And you might never know what may come out of it. At least that is what I feel.
I'm thinking sakura would make a good admin in the forum games section. (Or vincent, or any of the other members who play a lot.)
There's another good point. Even if we screw around, it's better than total silence, lol. (Not saying that we would, but it's better than nothing.)
