Kane has been claiming to be preparing a bunch of new additions to go up Any Day Now. Let's see what they include first.

@geno- I didn't hear of that stipulation, but you're probably right. And you do bring up the most important point in that we don't even know how much wiggle room we have in this issue.
@pseudo- The funny thing is, I've never actually seen Kane post. I've heard of him (or her?) many times, but I've never actually seen evidence of his/her existence.
@secret-Like Code Geass, there is little demonstrated interest. I think there are about 4 people keeping that thread alive, with you and I among them.

In all seriousness though, I do think some of the less active subforums can be taken down. Some of them don't even get 5 posts a month.

For replacements, we could have a Hunter x Hunter subforum; that one thread's been in Misc. Series for God knows how long.

Also, maybe a Current Anime Series subforum like they have over at AnimeSuki? I don't exactly know the logistics of this, I'm just putting it out there.

In all honesty, the stuff I like either isn't hosted here or isn't popular here, for whatever reason. The only two I'd recommend that's likely to be taken seriously is:
1)HunterxHunter - This series is well loved and has been around for a long time now. The mangaka has finally promised and end the breaks, and the series is about to hit it's ultimate climax. Lots that could be done here. Particularly in retrospect.
2) Fairy Tail - A series made by a former co-worker of Oda Eiichiro with dramatic, and consistent, plot lines that fall right into place between Naruto and One Piece. Other than a few mods who don't like it, this series does have it's fans and is working it's way to the peak of another story arc right now.

Ah, and Steal... Tsubasa just finally reached the final arc of the story. That's a bit of a bad time to remove it. I get Conan, but not more than the dead board that is DeathNote or even 666 Satan at this point.

I just nominated those because they, from my casual observation, get somewhere in the range of one to three posts a week. Sad.

Anyway, I agree that Tsubasa should be removed when it ends, but right now, it's more active than Steal seems to realize. I'd rather have completed series subforums (like Suzuka!) be removed first.
