    Default less chaos

First of all I think it's a really good thing to have this thread, since it's very important to listen to what the members want/suggest. So congrats in that!

Aniways, try to add more threads. Like you have the creative thread but it contains, fanart, fanfiction, FX and lots and lots more. Why not start threads for fanart, Fanfiction etc. Also make better rules for posting topics. For example make sure people state in the topic title wether it's fanart or a fanfiction, and from what series etc. This way it's easier to browse trough for people.

I have my own anime/manga forum, so I had to learn the hard way as well ^^'

    looking for anime/manga/Jdrama/artbooks/Anime OST's/Jrock/Yaoi ? Come visite Anime-World-Ruka ^^

And while we're at it, lets add a sports section, even though we only have about one sports thread every few months and not many people post in them. So yeah, in summary there is no need to split up forums when there is not much demand to do so, since all it would do is create more sections to moderate, split up our userbase (people tend to just stick to a few sections), and create more inconvenience for users who have to visit more sections when there is not much gained in splitting them up.
Having too many sections also creates the problem of confusing people when they are not sure which section to post something and also makes the main page look more daunting.

Sections only need to be split up when it is convinient to do so, otherwise its best to keep it simple. We've just added some new sections and IMO its already looking a little crowded.

As for better posting guidelines, while its a nice idea, they can never be clear enough. When you make them clearer, someone even dumber comes along, when you make them simpler, someone comes along who just ignores them. The clearest you can make guidelines is to say "read the description, read the rules and use common sense", sadly most people are lacking in that department.
