Thread: Maybe a few new styles?

It looks like you've only got the default subsilver style and one other, and there are so many cool ones out there that you could use. You may even want to add a portal. You can get them at places like:

www.phpbb-styles.com
www.phpbb-hacks.com
and some more that I'll give to you if you think it's a good idea. Those are just the main ones that I thought of off the top of my head. It'd really make the site look alot better if you did something like that. It kills me to see the dafault subSilver used but unmodified U.U

I was going to add a few new styles, but there is a lot of custom coding on the themes that we have installed now so that is the only thing holding me back.

Well I like this site no matter how it looks, and I know many here feel the same way, so I doubt its a huge priority or anything.

But I think you should put this guy to work, if he's willing.

Well yea, of course it's not a super-priority, but it's really not that hard to transfer coding with PHPBB. I mean after all, the only section styles mainly touch are the .tpl files of pages, and the overall_header.php and overall_footer.php. so it's never a problem to just insert the coding in question. I don'tsee why it wouldn't be compatible. I'd do it for you if you want, if you're too busy with the rest of the site, but really you don't ever even need to install NEW styles, as long as you know what you're doing, you can make subSilver do whatever you need it to without touching any of the PHP files, and just the TPL's. I'm just trying to help, not nagging by the way, because I know that any minute now somone will walk in and say "stfu newb"

Oh, and by the way I also do custom graphics from time to time, so I could make you some of those if you want to.

You're right, it's not too hard, I just have a lot of other things taking up time. Tonight I will be adding a new theme or so.
