Thread: More Tips ^.^

ummmm yeah well i am bak to give some advice on how i think u can improve this site! ^.^ wooot. uh...sorry if u guys already hav the functions i am about to describe...i'm a noobie here.

1. hav some sort of distinction between the completed mangas and the ones in progress. i dont really like to pick up on progressing mangas coz i like to read it all in one go! hahaha

2. hav the group that is scanlating the manga (if possible...since i kno u guys feed off all sorts of sources). that way people can get up-to-date by themselves more easily and stop bothering u guys. i also find it easier to go straight to the scanlators.

3. hav links to other popular manga download sites such as souhaku, animewaves, direct manga, mangadownload.net etc.... ....or is this bad for business?

4. come up with a cool header for this site ^.^ i mean...this site is so good but its a shame that it doesnt hav any logo or designs over it. its very plain -_-" this one isnt a big deal but i thought it would be a good idea...^.^"

errr...thats all i hav for now...sorry to bother u if these suggestions were stupid...-_-"

i dunno dude. i kinda like the way the site is. its simple and easy to access. all the manga and the forums are all on one page, the first one. i mean, compared to directmanga, u dont have to click page after page to find whatever ur looking for. but stoptazmo has everything all here, perfectly compact.. and lets not forget the color coding for updates.
plain is not the word for this site...but simply good.

ahhh dude ur only arguement is that u want the majority of things on the first page? or that u simply want easy access. regardless, my advice on improvements on the site does not actually take away any simplicity. just like how new series are in red, a complete series could be coded in yellow or something. that is what i'm talking about.

besides kawaii kakashi, i think that ur not actually looking a little bit more deeply into the situation. direct manga has chosen to place its manga in catergories because they hav too many mangas. wouldnt everyone want things to be simple? of course they do, hence catergorizing the mangas into alphabets makes their life easier. sooner or later stop tazmo's archives will grow so large that they will hav to find another way to list them. personally i think that even rite now its a little bit...how should i put it...clattered?

nope. i actually didnt intend to make an arguement persay. like i said in my previous post, i like the way the site is now. and i was only elaborating that thought by saying what i thought was good about the site.

anyways. u meant cluttered right? i dont really see it that way, nor did i when i first visited the site. after all, they are in alphabetical order.

and if u really wanted the incomplete and complete series (which i dont think there are that many. maybe. i dont know all of the mangas.) distinguished, then the color suggestion wouldnt completely work. especially when it would be color on color if u know what i mean. instead i suppose a possiblity would be too put the incomplete first and then the complete on the bottom in another section.

ahhh i wrote too much. hope i didnt confuse u there.

ahhh yeah thats a good idea too. well either way most of the time i like to download completed mangas so therefore it would be easier if they were somehow distinguished.

cluttered! yeah thats what i mean. sorry, i'm actually an australian born chinese (abc) but since i hav been hanging around so many azn azns i hav started to lose my english...haha but yeah i do find it rather cluttered. even tho they are in alphabetical order, which before they weren't, it still feels a little awkward. the style found at www.mangadownload.net isnt bad. just the basic design i mean, the drop down system is very nice. u could hav the drop down system implemented into each letter in the alphabet. anyway anyway there are so many things u can do. i think that a more stylish feel would be good....but thats just me...

lol. clattered! at first i was like..er..whats sound got to do with the site? btw, i think its so awesome that ur an australian asian (a-squared). i always wanted to live somewhere else. ( i live in the states) Being an asian living in that particular asian country or being an american-asian is way too typical for me. i so want to go to australia one day.

and leaving it like above is spamming, kinda. sooo, ill guess ill add. for one, i suppose there are much much more people who feel the same as you do in wishing to add something more vibrant to the site, or that the mangas are placed awkwardly. i took a look at ur link and ur right. the drop down thing is and would be a cool decor.

yeah however i do still feel the same as u. i like this site because it has a good forum atmosphere (unlike newgrounds...-_-") and it simply provides manga without all of the other obstacles. But i guess because i'm a manga reader, i'm also a visual person. so i like the good graphic works on sites. of course its not needed and even if its never done i will still come to this site. i just think it would be cool ^.^

yah yah, being an azn in a different society is pretty cool because u can still get ur azn flavor will mixing with some other different cultures. I can hang out with my chinese friends, my japanese friends, my korean friends or my 'white' friends. so its lotsa fun. at other times we all mix together and funny racist comments fly! so funny ^o^

Another thing came into my mind.

why not hav a most downloaded part for the site? like it shows the top 10 or 20 downloaded mangas. that would be useful for people who are new here and want to read a good manga.

kyniver, when another thing comes into mind, please edit the previous post. And having the most downloaded mangas... it would probably be better to have ratings for each manga and have the top 10/20 rated. Your idea was good though.
