Thread: section for anime recommendations

i really like this website - the ppl are really nice and it's really reliable, but i got an idea for a new section

could there possibly be a place where ppl can put posts about animes they are looking for?

for example:
anime with sci-fi theme, anime similar to blah, anime made by this author, or simply, what's a good anime for a person who likes blah...

there are a lot of good animes out there and i bet there are some that ppl haven't heard of.

just a thought.

i searched and i found top anime/manga, but no just anime, i think this thread should live on!

I'm not sure if its approriate to say this (since I don't fully understand your request Musey), but be carefull what you wish for.

If this is the reason we have that new forum at the bottom of the page... I mean isn't Misc Series encompass things like this???

Misc. Series is going to be for series-specific discussions now; the other forum will be for recommendations and all those general threads about "which is your favourite anime" and stuff like that. You don't like it? =(

Nah, just reading the descriptions implied that they were kinda the same thing. Thanks for the explanation

Then the description for Misc. Section should be changed, or else people will misunderstand its purpose.

What mr. fox said. The descriptions of both need to make that clear -- up front, or there's going to be a lot of crankiness at newbies who won't understand, despite it not being their fault.
