    Default Just a small suggestion

Can you guys automatically redirect 'newbie' Stoptazmo members to the Rules & FAQS thread. I have seen the Swift hand of justice here in ST, and sometimes it aint fair on New members. This is just so that new members are aware of what they are doing and therefore we don't get pointless threads or suggestions for a new manga.

This may overall saves you time and not have to Ban anybody due to their ignorance in reading the Rules + FAQS.

Just my opinion in helping ST.

The first thing you should always do when you go anywhere (even IRL) is check the house rules. Any forum is going to have its own rules, both global and section specific, its almost universally accepted that global rules will be in the announcement section and section specific rules will be stickied in their relevent section. Basically the rules are not hard to find, all it requires is a bit of common sense and the courtesy to go read them. The fact that quite often people do not bother to read the rules, shows pure contempt for the site and its staff. Ignorance is not an excuse for breaking the rules.

Its just that Newbies commonly break the rules, because they haven't read the rules.
Its just my opinion, there's no need for it to be done. Also I'm just helping ST's mods to giving them a better time managing ST, not just banning noobs.

Thats not a problem, most of the time we don't mind dealing with n00bs (evidenced quite often by the fact that we help them and show them what they've done wrong, albeit calling them idiots at the same time), if we did mind dealing with n00bs, we'd just ban them straight away. Its the principle that matters, they come here and we expect them to show respect for our way of doing things by reading and following the rules. To not bother even looking for our rules is just rude, we shouldn't have to hold their hands ad guide them just because they lack manners. Use of this site is a privilege, not a right.

Maybe if possible an automatic PM is sent to a new registered user when h signs up here. While I agree with 98abaile's point about at least having a brain cell or two about looking for the rules. For some newbies this might be their first forum they have ever been to. Maybe Mr. Noodle has an idea there. I say an automatic PM after a new register is the best thing. Just my opinion.

Yeah, after seeing that thread, I seriously started to doubt my own words (as well as lose all faith in humanity). That guy makes me want to strangle myself.

Yeah I hadn't thought of the first time forumer thing, maybe a reminder to read the rules.
