update/add within last 7 days

7 days for green update is kinda long :/
In fact, new mangas are released every 7 days, which mean some manga will be always green.

I suggest to bring it down to 1 day, such that we know which manga has been updated every day. Therefore, we won't get confused by those of the previous day that are checked already. Because right now i saw a lot of green manga and most of them i have already read In order to know which manga have been updated, i have check the update list.

For new added manga, 7 days sound good so far.

Yeah I agree as well. I mean, half these mangas update like, weekly. (Well maybe not half, and it's entirely up to the scanlation group when it comes out.) But that's still cutting it close. It should be like 4 days or so, max.

Uh, with respect to all parties involved, I disagree.

I think that what the webmaster is trying to do here is help us remember which series are still active, and more being added. This way, if a series is still being translated, we will know to look for more even if we haven't been around the site for 4 days, as sometimes happens. Also, it's really easy to just look throught the green ones to find the series you go to for updates. I remember when One Piece wasn't updated for some 10 days, it really threw me a loop to see it not in green.

You're right, there are advantages to knowing what has been updated each time, but i think the pros I have listed here outwiegh your objections. Keep it the way it is, say I!

I just say that because for manga like BLEACH, I don't know if that green is from last week's update, or from this week's update. To me, it seems like it's been green for two weeks. You don't want that kind of overlap. Even if it only stays for 5 days or so, that's still long enough to warn practically anyone. And if you are out of town for a week or something, it's ok, because it's only going to be about a week till it gets updated again.

What about if next to each updated title it just also had something like (number of days) next to the title so we'd see something like, Black Cat(4) and just have a limit on how high the number can go.

i think it would be nice to have like new series/updated series within the last 3 days. (i choose 3 cause that's a nice number ^_^) yes, i agree it's a pain to see things stay colorful for a while...confuses me sometimes...gets my hopes up other times...

but i also think it would be a pain for the admins to keep changing it. might get overly complicated. if it's a software they programed that's doing all this, than by all means we should lower the days. ^_^

Well, another option would be daily updates are blue, weekly updates are green and new series are red.

well at least 2 to 4 days i mean.. sometimes.. theres new stuff to download.. but then when i go on like 4 days later. it makes u think they updated it somemore... and im not exactly a very nothing to do all day person....
so.. i like the idea. it would keep me more organized.
