Thread: Trojan?

Don't want to screw up things here and want to say that this is the second time this is happening to me(once on Netherlands biggest newssite nu.nl).... But while going to the "island" section, some trojan tried to get on my pc.... AVG stopped it, but I never ever encountered something like this.... It could be one of the ads trying to spread a trojan and I guess those rotate..... But could someone check this?

I wouldn't mind if anyone looked into this and replied.... I personally like this site and it's concent and it would be a waste if it would be screwed over by some lame ass advertiser...

Run a spyware scan as well as an antivirus check.

I just got a virus warning when opening the Latest Downloads page -- one of the first things I did this morning, and last night's scheduled scan was clean. The infected files were in my browser cache.

The banner ad was for a travel site.
