Manga Descriptions
It'd be a good idea if we had a thread where summaries of all the mangas ST has. It wouldn't be a one-man job, instead, everyone posts, and a mod or such could go copy and paste summaries other members type. It would save a lot of people the trouble of googling, or downloading one chapter of each new series to see which ones they like. I know that some mangas have descriptions in the download page, but most don't.
The template could simply be:
Title - genre - description.
Thoughts?

It might save us lots of trouble, and you too, if you'd bothered to search the Feedback forum before posting this. I'm sure this issue has been brought up before.

I looked through the feedback pages and the closest thing I found was
Which wasn't answered, and something else about genres, which also got the same post.FYI: ive downlaoded the first chapter of every manga of A and up. after i get all the A and up chapters downloaded, i plan to add my own toughts (or review critic, whatever its called) to each one. ...
I thought this issue would be brought up before too, so I did search the feedback pages, since I know how anal you mods are about repeat threads.

what ever happened to that idea about us writing manga summaries DE?

Not saying that manga summaries are bad or antyhing, but you have the newbs come in and say it rocked you should definately read this manga. I am saying that (and I know this will be biased) but have some of the higher posters who know about the mangas they read put up a summary. I know this idea is flawed, but it would be better than having to sift through crap. Just my $.02.

Yeah knowing what I am downloading is nice I will even write summaries to help seeing as I am looking for (insert genre here) and find shoujos about 80% of the time.

i'd be willing to help out with some summaries too, if there was some concerted project effort going on =\ again, i would nominate pseudorandom for a major role in this; he did some really good job on the "new series recommendation" thread
