How bout allowing download managers? I think it's nice that you give free direct download but you don't allow download managers. If you would allow download managers it would be a great help.

I'm pretty sure - no wait, 100% sure - that if you read the Help Section rules, you'll know.

I think it's because most, if not all, download managers have a download acceleration function, which puts incredible strain on the server if used en masse. StopTazmo is visited by quite a lot of people worldwide. Download managers work on www.mangarun.com though.

That's 100% correct.

Or to put it another way, ST can't afford to allow download managers.

Alright I understand. Still I need to limit my download and that's why I use one.

personaly i dont see any use in download managers aside mass leeching...

even thoughi downloaded almost all the material i was interested in (90% of the manga content) i did it in an arc of a bit less than 2 years...

in other words... dont just download like a madman... enjoy reading the forum too while downloading...

if the time between a download seems too long just listen to music, read a book, some comics, or post in some part of this forum... after all... what's the hurry?

besides ST has now new servers which allow you to download to a speed which 2 years ago wasn't realy possible except for some series hosted on some servers when ppl weren't downloading at the same time...
