Thread: Advertisements

I don't mind the ads... I mean you have to pay for hosting some how.

But can you PLEASE not have the ads that speak ("CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE BEEN PICKED TO GET A FREE XBOX360") and the ads that try to download what appears to be viruses on your computer? (I just got one that prompted Firefox to tell me "You have chosen to open 'Update.exe'. Do you wish to execute the program or save it?"

I'm also against the ones that spawn more than one pop up, but I'd much rather have that then the speaking ones and the ones that try to get you to download executable files.

How about instead of complaining, you help us by telling us what url gave you that?

Sorry. I was just a little annoyed and freaked out when it happened that I closed it immediately.

But yeah if I get them again, I'll post them here. Yeah, I know I'm useless.
