Thread: Death Note is...

The full series of Death Note is on the site but it is not highlighted blue.
It also makes me wonder if there are any others completed but listed as incomplete. I know its nothing big but I like to know which series are complete
and I also would like to know if there are any series that were discontinued, mabye they would be listed in yellow or something.

Yeah, if you use the search, you can find several messages cataloging serieses not yet marked complete. Including a thread I'd started (and inexplicably wasn't thwapped for, given that's the usual reaction). At one point, the guy in charge of that section admitted he hadn't gotten around to updating the markings -- nor to posting/approving reviews of individual chapters (which are backed up at least a couple months).

I am not going to lie. We are backlogged around here. It's just me doing all the site updates, and I don't have time to do everything. There is just too much to do.

I did try to get staff involved, but they never did anything. I will get death note and others marked as complete, the problem I had last time was with PM's telling me series that were supposedly complete, and I had to go through and do a lot of research to find if it was true or not.

Are you still looking for staff? And what are they required to do?

I spoke with a lot of people. I got about 5 people to join and agree to help, but no one seemed to do anything, this was many months ago (remember that last post I did asking for help here?).

Not too much really needs to be done, someone to help find updates and people to help approve reviews for manga chapters. It does take time some as I have to spend and hour or two on it every other day.

No offence but u seem to have find some really good staffs. is 98abaile a staff? no bootlicking but i see him quite often, so yea people like him..

I thought the groups showed the mods - technically, we're not staff. We're the forum moderators. We don't have any power over the whole downloading thing and I DO remember there being a thread a while ago about asking people to help with managing the download section. So I guess nothing came out of it? That's really disappointing.

By the way, some of the "completed" series (like Death Note and Black Cat) have omake chapters that aren't part of the main series but ARE part of the general series (like side stories) that have or have not been scanlated (but aren't on this site). I'm not sure if those will be added, but if they are, then the series aren't really complete, are they?
