Thread: i got another suggestion...

Well, i felt that the manga should be group according to the types of magas they are... like example all the love stories together and all the fighting together... so for those who is looking for a new to start on, its easier for them to look for what type they want to read... as for me, i spent alot of time here to look for more manga to read, but sometimes i cant find the type that i am looking for and its really fustrating; (the desire to read more) if its not possible then never mind this... i will just spent more time that all... as i hav finish my 'O' level so i can take my time...

Does not being able to speak English mean that you don't know what the "search" function is?

Actually i think it's a pretty good idea. To have classifications of manga. At the very least, catagorize them under Shoujo, Shounen and Seinen. And then probably also subcategorize them even further on later.

There's actually more and more manga titles now. More titles = confusion. Especially titles that people have never heard of. Personally, i'm interested in reading them, unless they're shoujo mangas. I want to avoid downloading them and finding out later that "aww, it's a shoujo manga". Or probably people interested in comedy, can go to such a category immediatelly instead of trying to figure out which title is actually which genre.

yes, finally someone with the same thought as me ^_^ i said that because i hav just spent close to 10 hours reading at least 15 different manga today and only found 3 that is my type... and the rest i just lost intrest half way through as most of them do not have sammary or review... if if they have one cant get an rough idea of what that manga is about...

well.. it's pretty hard to group all the new mangas if u r not sure what they really gonna be turning out to be right?

I think maybe have description of what they r about.. or have a COVER page Thumb image would be better

ALSO.... WHY there's no Manga - VAGABOND (abt Musashi Miyamoto?)

they dont really need to group them... actually all i was hopping for is there is at least a summary or review about the story, as alot of the manga without any colour tend to have nothing to give us an overview... some of them are actually quite good to read...

thus either i have to for go reading that manga or download it and later ending up wasting my time as its not my type...

because i have to destress from all my exam, i have just spent my who day on this website... but only barely get a mere 20% satifaction from the whole day of reading...

Doesn't anyone on this forum know how to search for something online? Not only would they realize that this topic has been brought up many times before, they'd also be able to use sites like Manga-Updates to read about the manga they're thinking of downloading! What a revolutionary idea!

The summary already exists for most mangas. Actually dont have to group the mangas. How about something simpler instead? For example, in the manga synopsis, just add any category(ies) there, like for example: Shounen, School, Comedy for a manga like Angel Densetsu so that at least a potential reader would know what it would be like. Instead of the other option of trying to download and not liking them afterwards. This is a waste of the site's bandwidth too.

Also, for my manga needs, i only visit stoptazmo.com and only rely on this site alone. So i dont know how Manga-Updates is like or any other sites in a matter of fact. I did use to go to narutofan to get my updates of naruto weekly before i knew this site. And other individual sites like bleach7 and others for other mangas i read. But after finding this awesome site, i've more or less ignored all the other sites and just focused on getting my manga here.

About the number of many times such a suggestion have been posted must be really annoying for mods. However i dont monitor all the posts and updates of this site's forum and only occasionally pop up here and there. Thus i dont know much about any repetitive annoying suggestions/posts. If this is another one of them, then i truly apologize for anymore annoyance on your part.
