    Well, if a sub-forum were made, it would be easiest for the current mods to do whatever process they usually do for mod selection. I just think it's weird that some of the other subforums have like 11 threads in them or 5 threads or whatever while FMA gets shafted.

    i do think that fma deserves a subforum, after all its a great manga and anime and many of us like FMA a LOT and have a LOT of things to cuestionate inside of a unique thread in the misc series subforum, its not fair...for us, the FMA lovers, nor to the other members that go to that subforum to discuss about other series that, maybe, are not that big like fma and feel anxious about seeing to much fma thread (even if there aren't so many threads we all know that we want to create threads to discuss), in shortly i think that FMA has to have a subforum with nishijo and issalroc as mods (i know nishijo and he knows very much about fma and is the #1 fan of it, he scares me with that fandom XD)

    *Ahem*
    What these people are so eloquently trying to say is this:
    1. FMA is a popular manga on this forum with a large fan-base.
    2. FMA is an ongoing manga that is likely to have much interesting discussion for a long period of time.
    3. FMA has, I am guessing, a very high dowload:chapter ratio, because, though it might not have the sheer number of downloads that Naruto, Bleach, ect. has, it has a high number of downloads considering its size, because it is released monthly, not weekly.

    Taking this into account, several of the people of this forum decided to petition for the creation of an FMA section, just as there was a petition for a Fruits Basket section. These individuals know that there is not likely to be such a section any time soon, as Kane is a busy man, and does not always have free time set aside for the creation of such things. However, the members of this forum respectfully want to bring their humble wishes to your attention.

    Is that a good enough summary of what y'all want, guys?

    That pretty much sums up what we're saying.
    Now you only have to roll and I'll give you the cookie.

    Well, I only say the bad parts because the Fruits Basket petition never got any attention from ANYONE... so I'm wondering what'll happen to this one. I do think an FMA subforum is a great idea, because it is really popular and ongoing, and basically everything that has already been stated.

    (For the record, a Fruits Basket forum WOULD be a good idea... =P)

    Ohh... personal bias senses... tingling.....

    But I think both of them would be good, as both have hordes of fans. The downside is that many of the FMA fans are yaoi loving girls. And shojo is shojo.

    Maybe they could kill two birds with one stone and just integrate both series into one sub-forum. If things get too complicated, they could split them, but its the laziest solution I could come up with..

    @krytha

    lol, Full Metal Basket?

    ---

    maybe we can usurp the space that Black Cat currently has? the series has ended already and it's not exactly that active. genre-wise, i think they're quite similar.
