Thread: Suggestion [No... not for new manga]

Looking at the Help Section, I [and the mods, apparently] see that there is an overabundance of people who don't know how to shut the fuck up and wait for things to work in a day or two... or for missing chapters to be put up when the people who actually work to do them decide to release them. Ergo, I have two ideas... and I'm probably not the first person to think of either things.

1) Make a single thread for people to post about download issues so that the forum stays cleaner and there aren't a million threads asking about the same probelm in different series (just a million posts in the same thread).

2) Make a different thread for people to post about missing chapters so that they don't keep making threads that only take up about three sentences.
ex:
Prince of Tennis- missing ch.'s 101-114. find them. thx.



Don't know if this is in the right section, or if others posted this before me, but, either way, (don't flame me into using the search button more often if there already is a thread...).

The idea about having a single thread is okay, I guess, but it still won't encourage them to search - and it really doesn't prevent them from starting new threads. I think a single thread will just get spammed worse because people won't be able to see that an entire page of threads on the same subject has been created.

And, of course, it's a lot harder to deal with that. I'm sure only the last few posts would be checked (or maybe I'm just lazy).

Also, some missing chapters require a warning or ban because of the amount of times they've been asked. (Prince of Tennis being an example, I think.)

Help Sections has tricky posting rules. Only moderators, admins, and the original person who started the thread can post in a particular thread.

This rule was made because one person used to go "I can't get One piece manga to work! HELPZ! FIX PLEASE!" while the next person would go "Help! download manager! I need to know the right password!"

Yea.. unrelated crap got mixed together.
