Default Suggestion for weekly update post

In the world of comic scans, there is a group (DCP) that posts a weekly update of all new additions--so that people can simply download one group of files instead of checking every series to see if any new additions have been made.

I would like to suggest that each week--when adding new scans--that a page be set up for the scans added that week...pages for previous 12 weeks could be available to collectors...

    Keep up the great work!

As an example of an easy way to do this, see how a comic tracking forum does it (zcult fm)...

    http://www.zcultfm.com/~comic/viewfo...20b5813cbadba5

They have a section under Newest Submissions on their forum where new items are posted each day.

Another approach would be a link page sorted by date added...

This approach would be really helpful for participants as they can quickly see what has been added to the series they are following, and update those items directly.

I like the idea, sort of, except for the fact that that means I get the updates for series I don't want as well. Also, for modem users this means one giant download during which they can get disconnected and whatnot... I don't use dial up but you should keep them in mind.

You only select the http links for the files you are collecting...not a mass BT torrent. Think of it like seeing an http page like on this site, and then selecting only those files you need

Yeah for the smart people with bitcomet or the like... imagine the ones where you cant choose the files?

I am not suggesting the posting of bittorrent files...I am suggesting the posting of the http zip file links...

A simple way could be the establishment of a "Newest Submissions" section in forum, and a daily log of files posted that day. Each log would have the zip file link listed for all files added.
