    Unhappy Agressive/hostile ads

I'm getting a number of pop-ups that are actively trying to hit me with spyware and "browser helpers" that I don't need or want in a hundred foot radius of my network at home..

what's the deal? is the site so hard up for cash that you'll let anything go in the ads? or do you not really care about being better than Tazmo any more?

I'd hate to have to dump the site as you guys otherwise have been great, and you're a better source fot some of the older manga than any other one site out there, but sooner or later enough is too much..
    please look into it huh?

AFAIK, ST doesn't have these kind of ads, what this means is that you already have spy/ad ware on your computer, so get a good anti spyware program and use it, and in future take better care of your computer and be more careful of the sites you visit and the stuff you download.

I use Trend Micro's 2006 PC security and run a spyware scan twice a week. I get notices from this site's popups, not constantly, but frequently.. I don't get them from several other popup/pop under ads on other sites, however I do get them from other sites who use the same ad servers. Remember, stoptazmo isn't in direct control of the ad provider's content, they simply have control over the presence of the ads. ISOHunt recently had a similar problem with their ads. ad providers have been known to become infected (inadvertantly or by means of a hacker) so I raise the question, Has something happened to the ads used here?

don't automatically assume it's my machine when you don't know the circumstances I run it under.

IF you are still using IE6 you deserve pop-ups and ads and all that shit.
use fire fox. or any other... opera, mozilla, etc.

Then stop bitching about it. ST can't control the content, but they can control the provider, however did you ever consider they had specific reasons to use a certain provider? As in pay, etc.

And I haven't been hit by popups, so it must be your browser at least letting them though. Go get yourself firefox. Otherwise, stfu.
